Featuring extraordinary musicians from top conservatories\, this concert celebrates the profound contributions of immigrant and American composers to the chamber music tradition. \nDate: Saturday\, March 29\, 2025 \nTime: 4 PM \nLocation: Church of the Western Reserve\, 30500 Fairmount Blvd\, Pepper Pike\, OH\nAudiences will be treated to a dynamic program featuring music by legendary composers who made America their home —Igor Stravinsky\, Sergei Rachmaninoff\, Kurt Weill\, and George Gershwin—as well as works by their American counterparts—Leonard Bernstein\, Samuel Barber\, Amy Beach\, and William Grant Still. \n“This concert will be a feast for the ears—glorious\, expressive\, and filled with stunning virtuosity\,” says Jodi Kanter\, Artistic Director of Musical Upcoming Stars in the Classics (M.U.S.i.C.)\, the non-profit organization presenting the event. “We’re thrilled to showcase some of the most exceptional young musicians in Northeast Ohio in a program that honors both the American spirit and the global roots of classical music.” \nCost: Admission: $60 patrons\, $35 general\, $15 students (Reservations suggested); Includes a reception to meet the artists \nFeatured Performers \nThis year’s Spring Cabaret boasts an outstanding lineup of international prize winners\, top soloists\, and rising chamber musicians from Europe\, Asia\, and the Americas:\nViolin – Zachary Brandon\, Michelle Bushkova\, Maude Cloutier\nPiano – Alexander Kostritsa\, Muyu Lu\, Alexandre Marr\, Jackson Naglick\nCello – Brendon Phelps\nClarinet – Jazmin Pascual\nSoprano – Catherina Carrington\, Lisl Wangermann\nBaritone – Drew Russell \nFollowing the performance\, guests are invited to meet the musicians at a reception with light refreshments.
