Cold Weather Clothing Drive

As temperatures begin to fall across Northeast Ohio, I’m In Ministry!, a faith-based nonprofit organization serving individuals and families facing hardship, is inviting the community to help keep their neighbors warm this winter.

The organization will host a Cold Weather Clothing Drive Drop-Off Event on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its facility located at 100 Hayes Drive, Suite F, Brooklyn Heights, OH 44131.

Community members are encouraged to donate new or gently used coats, jackets, sweaters, hoodies, hats, gloves, scarves, boots, pants, socks, and other cold-weather clothing for individuals and families in need. Donations should be clean and in good, wearable condition.

“For many people in our community, the colder months bring additional challenges,” said Deacon Lou, CEO and Founder of I’m In Ministry! “Something as simple as a warm coat, a pair of gloves, or a comfortable sweatshirt can make a meaningful difference. We believe we are all God’s children, and caring for one another is part of our responsibility as people of faith.”

I’m In Ministry! works throughout Greater Cleveland to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and other difficult life circumstances. Through partnerships with the City of Cleveland, local churches, community organizations, and dedicated volunteers, the ministry provides furniture, household essentials, clothing, and other necessities that help people rebuild their lives.

The organization operates on four guiding principles: Non-Judgment, Respect, Kindness, and Hope. Rather than focusing on how someone arrived at their circumstances, the ministry focuses on meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with dignity.

“Our mission goes beyond providing material necessities,” added Deacon Lou. “It’s about showing people that they matter, that they haven’t been forgotten, and that there is hope for a better tomorrow. Every donation is an opportunity to put faith into action.”
