Rock & Roll Hall of FameRelive your favorite music memories of the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees at the new 2025 Inductee Exhibit, which will open at the Rock Hall on October 31st. The exhibit, brought to you by Donna Creol, features artifacts highlighting major music milestones from all 13 Inductees who will be honored at the 2025 Induction Ceremony on November 8th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on November 8th. The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees include Bad Company, Thom Bell, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Nicky Hopkins, Carol Kaye, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Salt-N-Pepa, Soundgarden, Lenny Waronker, The White Stripes, and Warren Zevon. The 2025 Inductee Exhibit highlights the lives and careers of the 2025 Inductee Class by showcasing iconic artifacts, including the handwritten lyrics to “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper, the outfits worn by Meg White and Jack White on the cover of The White Stripes’ “Icky Thump,” a 1979 Gibson Les Paul electric guitar played by Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, outfits worn by the members of Outkast including the outfit Andre 3000 wore in the “Hey Ya” music video, and more. A vibrant cultural celebration for the whole family, the annual “Day of the Dead” honors the memory of those who have passed on and is a treasured holiday in Mexico and throughout Latin America. This joyous celebration inspired by the Mexican Dia de Muertos holiday features altar (ofrenda) installations, the annual “Skulls & Skeletons” procession, Latin food, live music, folk art market, and FREE entertainment for all ages.

Cleveland History CenterThe Cleveland History Center will open on Monday, January 19 - MLK Day, 10am to 4pm. We will offer free admission all day with $3 rides on the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel. All exhibits will be open. Weber’s Premium Custard will be on site selling Euclid Beach Vanilla and Higbee’s Frosted Malt. In addition to the ongoing museum exhibits, we will have special material on view in the Library related to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and other material from the African American History Archive. Members of the WRHS Genealogical Committee will be onsite to assist visitors with access to Ancestry Library and other family history resources. This is a great way to begin a family history research project. Guests are also invited to “Coffee, Cocoa, and Community Conversations” at 12pm. Seating is at capacity but a zoom option is available. Join us in the Crawford Rotunda at 1:30pm to celebrate students from Cleveland School of the Arts and their new installation of artwork featuring Tuskegee Airmen. This Cleveland Heroes Project honors the courage and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen - heroes who transformed both military and civil rights history.
Cupid’s Undie Run
Draft Room at Huntington Bank FieldOn February 7 – hundreds of people in Cleveland will brave the cold in just their undies during Cupid’s Undie Run, the nation’s largest pantless party and mileish run for charity. The event raises awareness of neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, and fundraises for NF research through the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF). Members of the Cleveland NF community can share their experiences with the genetic disorder. Lake Erie Folk Fest
Case Western Reserve UniversityThe Lake Erie Folk Festival is our love letter to traditional music in Northeast Ohio. Created and produced by the Northeast Ohio Musical Heritage Association, and now in partnership with WRUW-FM, Lake Erie Folk Festival is back on Valentine’s Day - Saturday February 14th on the Case Western Reserve University Campus. Lake Erie Folk Festival has become Northeast Ohio's largest winter gathering of the region’s traditional music community, drawing visitors from five counties and three states to Greater Cleveland in the otherwise dark days of February. Visitors come for the great music, the sharing and learning and to be part of a vibrant community. LEFF features a host of accessible offerings, including all-day jam sessions playing all kinds of traditional music, free community concerts throughout the afternoon, a whole series of workshops to suit a wide range of musical interests, all topped off with a remarkable line-up of national and local bands sharing the stage in the festival’s always-popular evening concert. There will be music for all ages and abilities -- young musicians and those new to the music are all welcome.
