The 2025 BorderLight Theatre Festival will take place July 16th-19th across 16 stages in the iconic Playhouse Square District. This year’s diverse lineup features more than 150 performances from local, national, and international artists. These celebrated performances cover an array of genres and interests, including BIPOC, Cabaret, Circus, Dance, LGBTQIA+, Performance Art, Scripted Play, and so much more! 

And new this year—Fringe Jr.! Fringe Jr. is a curated slate of shows that appeal to kids, teens, and adults alike—each with its own recommended age range and content advisories to help families make informed choices, from all ages to 8–13 or 14+. These performances blend imaginative storytelling with creative artistry across genres.

Fringe Jr. shows take place throughout the festival, with a special concentration on Saturday, July 19 from 12–5pm in a walkable family zone in the Playhouse Square District. Enjoy circus arts, magical stories, dance battles, interactive theatre, and more!
