Solstice at the Cleveland Museum of Art

Celebrate long summer days and hot summer nights at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s (CMA) 14th annual Summer Solstice festival on Saturday, June 21, from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Solstice, Cleveland’s most anticipated summer spectacular, which combines music, art, dance, and projections, features performances by international bands on the museum’s outdoor south terrace and nationally recognized DJs in the Ames Family Atrium. All-inclusive tickets—covering admission as well as unlimited appetizers and beverages, including beer, wine, and canned cocktails—go on sale for members at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, followed by the public sale at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29. This event is for guests 21 or older. Early ticket purchasing is recommended as this event is expected to sell out. This year, Solstice’s main stage features live music sets with a lot of brass instruments and horn sections. Audiences can sonically travel the globe visiting New Orleans, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, and more. The evening kicks off with a second line march by Cleveland’s own Da Land Brass Band followed by performances by Balkan Paradise Orchestra (Spain), El Laberinto del Coco (Puerto Rico), and Mexican Institute of Sound (Mexico). Near West Theatre’s Pride Concert

Borderlight Theatre Festival

The 2025 BorderLight Theatre Festival will take place July 16th-19th across 16 stages in the iconic Playhouse Square District. This year’s diverse lineup features more than 150 performances from local, national, and international artists. These celebrated performances cover an array of genres and interests, including BIPOC, Cabaret, Circus, Dance, LGBTQIA+, Performance Art, Scripted Play, and so much more!  And new this year—Fringe Jr.! Fringe Jr. is a curated slate of shows that appeal to kids, teens, and adults alike—each with its own recommended age range and content advisories to help families make informed choices, from all ages to 8–13 or 14+. These performances blend imaginative storytelling with creative artistry across genres. Fringe Jr. shows take place throughout the festival, with a special concentration on Saturday, July 19 from 12–5pm in a walkable family zone in the Playhouse Square District. Enjoy circus arts, magical stories, dance battles, interactive theatre, and more! Tickets are available online or by phone (216.356.6485). Single ticket prices range from $9.25 to $36.25, with ticket packs from $43 to $156. The festival is also offering 13 free shows open to the public.

The much-anticipated Taste of Tremont festival is back, bringing the best of Tremont’s vibrant culinary scene, local artists, and neighborhood charm to Professor Avenue. On July 20th, from 12:00PM to 8:00PM, visitors from across the region are invited to stroll, sip, and savor their way through one of Cleveland’s most beloved summer traditions. Now in its 21st year, Taste of Tremont continues to grow, drawing more than 25,000 attendees last year alone. The festival showcases the neighborhood's renowned restaurants, food trucks, breweries, and artisans. Guests can enjoy a diverse array of flavors — from chef-driven small plates to classic comfort foods — while enjoying live music, shopping from local makers, and experiencing the energy that makes Tremont a destination year-round.

Cleveland Orchestra’s Free Hispanic Heritage Month Concert

Feel the rhythm! Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a free community concert featuring Latin jazz icon Sammy DeLeon y su Orquesta. The evening kicks off with a special performance by musicians of The Cleveland Orchestra and dancer Alice Blumenfeld, showcasing the sounds of Latin chamber music from around the world. Then, get ready to dance the night away at Severance Music Center as Sammy and his orquesta take the stage. This is a night of music and fun for the whole family! Come early for pre-concert dancing and mingling in the Grand Foyer, set to music by DJ IamYulissa.

Heights Music Hop

FutureHeights invites Clevelanders to experience the rhythm and heart of Cleveland Heights at its annual Music Hop, a three-day celebration of live music, local businesses, and community connection, scheduled to take place the weekend of Sept. 19th-21st, 2025. Launched in 2013 and now celebrating its 13th year, the festival has evolved into a premier celebration of the community’s diversity and authenticity. This year’s Hop spans four of the city’s most iconic commercial districts. It will begin Friday afternoon and evening with performances in the Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood. On Saturday, the music will kick off in the morning at the Noble Road Library, travel through the Cedar Lee District, and end on Sunday in Coventry Village. This year’s event promises something to enjoy for all ages with family friendly and community activities.
