To give back to the city that’s given so much to my family, and to build an even stronger Lakewood

It’s almost impossible to narrow it to one – prioritization of safety for pedestrians and cyclists, affordable housing solutions.

Experience and creativity. I have a strong background in volunteerism in the city, which has immersed me in the community in ways that have let me jump into issues and have an immediate impact.

Please summarize your campaign platform.

I want to enhance, shift, or change the culture of this community in 3 ways: placing walkers and bikers on equal footing with motorists; continuing to welcome people from diverse backgrounds, with an emphasis on socioeconomics; celebrating Lakewood as a haven for artists and creatives.

What past experiences indicate that you’ll succeed as a councilperson?

Long-time volunteer and board member for LakewoodAlive, our local CDC; former vice-chair of the Architectural Board of Review. Former Chair of the Public Art Advisory Board; Numerous independent volunteer projects that have had a positive impact on the community.

Is there anything else voters should know about you?

I’m a 20+ year resident with a diverse professional background in urban planning, brand strategy, and communications – experience that is relevant to everything we do on council. My family and I are on our second Lakewood home, and we’ve loved our time in this community.
