Women’s History Day Program—Women in Elected Office in Ohio
The League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland is holding a Women's History event, called "Building the Bench", at the Parma Snow Library on March 22 from 1-3 PM. This forum discusses why there are relatively few women in elected public office in Ohio, and how to remedy it. Two experts, Dr. Barbara Palmer of Baldwin-Wallace college, and Fizz White of Matriots will be speaking. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. — This spring, Stars in the Classics presents an exhilarating Spring Cabaret that brings to life the rich interplay of classical music and cultural heritage. Featuring extraordinary musicians from top conservatories, this concert celebrates the profound contributions of immigrant and American composers to the chamber music tradition.
