Octavia S. Hicks began writing poetry at an early age. Over the years she continued to expand her writing into not only poetry, but short stories, web, business, and educational content. She has also edited and aided in the self-publishing of several local authors in the Cleveland area. Octavia is grateful for the opportunity to write for a broader audience through The Land’s community journalism program. Octavia is a Cleveland resident who resides in the North Collinwood neighborhood.
