Cleveland Public Library opens new Martin Luther King Jr. Branch 

Civil rights leaders, library system and city officials, and the public were invited to attend the late January ribbon cutting ceremony. The expanded branch is designed to be more accessible while expanding community programming.

That effort continues today with the sale of several properties, including an abandoned high-rise apartment building, to Northern Real Estate Urban Ventures in Washington, D.C.
