MNI is working to transform neighborhoods like Collinwood, Old Brooklyn, Lee-Harvard, and West Park; areas that have long been loved by residents but have seen a slowdown in their housing market, and are ineligble for large public intervention.
This latest round of funding is part of a broader revitalization effort aimed at preserving the Buckeye neighborhood’s historic character while encouraging new economic and cultural growth.

Clevelanders, get ready for a first-of-its-kind milestone: the commissioning of the USS Cleveland, a Littoral Combat Ship that will carry our city’s name, pride and community spirit around the world. Not only will this be the first Navy ship named after Cleveland to actually be commissioned in the city, but it’s also setting a new standard in how cities can support the men and women who serve aboard.
The comprehensive program is spearheaded by Amy Lowell and will include wraparound services designed to improve Cleveland’s maternal and infant mortality rates, which are among the worst in the nation.
The West Park and Kamm’s Corners neighborhoods will soon have walking and cycling access to the Rocky River Reservation via a direct pathway. That’s all thanks to the $2 million Old Lorain Road Connector Trail project.

Point of Freedom was profoundly influenced by the founders, James Gantt and his wife Aisha Muhammad, own experiences with addiction and recovery. Gantt shared that the need for other types of addiction support emerged from witnessing the struggles and eventual demise of his mother, who battled addiction with the limited options available in her time.
The second annual Summer Safety Family Fun Day, a joint effort of Glenville and East Cleveland, brought together over 400 residents for a day of education, entertainment and community.
