The Famicos Foundation plans to move forward with Henrietta Homes, a lease-purchase project in the League Park area of the Hough neighborhood, this year. The 40 units of subsidized housing are part of the master plan for Hough's revitalization.
Following the April 2022 closing of the Dave's Market on Lakeshore Blvd. and the property's September sale, the former grocery store sits vacant.
Since their local Dave's Market closed in April, a free shuttle takes North Collinwood shoppers to its Euclid location. As the property remains vacant, residents of this food desert give feedback on the shuttle service.
