Tanisha Velez is a serial entrepreneur with a mission to educate and share what she has learned through trial and error. She is a proud Cleveland native and the founder of Cleveland Fresh, an urban agriculture operation that specializes in growing indoor microgreens, and Jardin 4 Life Inc., a new nonprofit in the city of Cleveland that has launched the Cleveland Fresh Farmers Market in the Clark-Fulton community.
Roberto Clemente Day, honoring one of baseball’s first Hispanic players, was celebrated on September 15 in the Clark-Fulton park named for him. The event brought a large crowd to talk about the future of the park.
