Morgana Bluffs Nature Preserve connects Cleveland’s youth with the environment

Many young Clevelanders don’t have easy access to greenspaces. The children in The Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, however, have Morgana Bluffs Nature Preserve right next door. The preserve is a greenspace in Slavic Village offering the kids — and all Clevelanders, really — a lush escape from the concrete.

Check out The Land’s short film about Morgana Bluffs, produced by journalism student Chris Abreu in partnership with The NewsLab at Kent State University.

This story was produced as part of an environmental justice reporting initiative involving partners Ideastream Public Media, The Land, The NewsLab at Kent State University, WKSU, La Mega, and the Northeast Ohio Solutions Journalism Collaborative (NEOSOJO).
